We run a number of events midweek. Click below to find out more.

Munch and Make – Monday’s @ 12:30pm

Munch and Make

Munch and Make is at 12.30 at Holy Trinity – this is our lunch club with the opportunity to stay on afterwards to do an easy craft. Come along, you’d be very welcome.

Coffee Pot – Thursday’s @ 9am

Coffee Pot

Coffee Pot is our weekly community cafe in the hall at St Luke’s Cliff Lane, which is open from 9-12 on Thursday mornings. Drop in for a cup of tea or coffee, a scone or a piece of delicious home made cake. You’ll be very welcome. Guests are invited to stay on for our short ‘lunchtime’ service in the church, which starts at 11:45 and finishes just after midday.

Time with God – Thursday’s @ 11:45am

Time With God

There is a short ‘lunchtime’ service each Thursday lunchtime at St Luke’s Church, starting at 11:45. It’s an opportunity for time with God in the middle of your week. Everyone is welcome, whether they’re staying on after Coffee Pot or they’re coming specially for the service.

Food for Thought – Thursday’s @ 7pm

Food for Thought

There is an informal service at St Helen’s church on Thursday evenings from 7-8. We eat together and use a variety of styles, formats and materials to help us think in fresh ways about God and the meaning of relationship with Him.

Prayer Night

Prayer Night

The second Monday night of the month is our central prayer night, when we gather to pray for needs in our church, our town and the wider world. Join with others from 7:30-8:45 to pray. Check the church diary to find out when the next prayer night is.

Fellowship Groups

Fellowship Groups

Church is about more than meeting once a week – Jesus is all about bringing people together to learn from him and care deeply for one another. That can’t be done in an hour on a Sunday. That’s why we meet in fellowship groups on the 1st and 3rd group of every month.
In fellowship groups we:

  • Spend time studying the Bible, focusing particularly on how we can put into practice the things Jesus is teaching us in his word
  • Catch up and share what’s been going on for us in life
  • Give and receive the support you may not get in a service on a Sunday
  • Bring things to our loving God, as we call him Father and believe that he hears the prayers we say, both for ourselves and for one another.

If you would like to join a fellowship group, please contact our fellowship group coordinator
