Helping children to grow in Christian faith, understanding and maturity is very important to us at the Waterfront Churches, and there are a number of activities aimed specially at children.
Our team of volunteers who run the various children’s groups and activities. All the team are DBS checked and safeguarding trained.
All Sunday groups happen at Holy Trinity church, and are aimed at children aged 3-11.
The children usually look at the same part of the Bible as the adults, in order that we are all thinking and learning the same lessons. Children’s groups often involve creative activities, games, songs and visual learning as well as Bible reading and discussion. Children will be brought back into the service before the end (or for communion on the first and third Sundays of the month)
Kids Rock is a club aimed at primary school children which meets every Wednesday during term time at St Luke’s Church hall, on Cliff Lane, opposite the primary school. We would welcome a donation of 50p per child (max £1 per family) per session. For more info contact Nicola Rout 01473 727774 or find us at Kids Rock on Facebook!
